A few years ago, I was asked to participate in the opening pitch before the Pittsburgh Pirates game with the Florida Marlins. Obviously, this was a huge thrill for me since I grew up a Pirates fan. (And as most people know, Pirates fans have very little to get excited about.)

FYI: Three Rivers Stadium was demolished shortly thereafter, so this photo has extra special meaning to me.
